CANCELLATION POLICY

A valid card is required on file to book all appointments. Clients must cancel or reschedule their appointment at least 24 hours in advance of their scheduled appointment time. • Same-day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total. • No-shows will be charged 75% of the scheduled service total. Failure to communicate with me will result in not being able to book again at The DC Hair Lounge. • Fees are charged automatically to the card on file. Inclement Weather Policy For the safety of both clients and stylist, appointments may be adjusted due to severe weather conditions (snow, ice, flooding, or unsafe road conditions). If The DC Hair Lounge needs to reschedule due to inclement weather, clients will be offered priority rebooking or a courtesy credit toward a future appointment. No cancellation fees will apply when rescheduling is initiated by the stylist for weather-related concerns. If clients need to reschedule due to weather conditions, please reach out as soon as possible so we can adjust your appointment accordingly. Communication is always appreciated, and accommodations will be made when safety is a concern. Sick Policy If you’re feeling unwell, please cancel or reschedule your appointment. Even mild symptoms (scratchy throat, congestion, not feeling your best) — It’s okay to stay home. Same Applies for Stylist will reach out as soon as possible. Appointments canceled or rescheduled same day due to illness will not be charged, as long as communication is provided. Please do not no-show. Your health and mine come first — rescheduling is always the safest option.
